more about the new place....
since it's far from SJSU, either mother will drive me or i will take the light rail. if i do that, mother will have to trust me. and i probably will need to buy pepper spray ahaha. i might bike out to the light rail station, but we'll see how things work out.

hmm, i'll probably try to go out more at the new house haha. like ride my bike or something. i need to do more.

apparently, this house is very ancient or something. most of the convenient features of a modern house aren't lacking. the garage door isn't electrically controlled. i'm ok with that. mother, not so much. the master bedroom has a window that faces the front street haha. i find that very interesting. and that means that the garage doesn't have a door leading into the house. there's like a side door, and you walk to the front door to get in the house. i'm cool with that. never really seen that before though. then again, i've never seen a two-bedroom house either.

there is no mailbox. there's one of those rectangular holes for mail though. it's under the house number and dual floodlight motion sensor, which are on the front right side of the garage O_o so i checked inside the garage. the homeowners just have a tub on the floor to catch the mail. that's pretty funny and sad haha. but it's ok. at least, we don't really have to walk outside to get the mail. only a little ways to the garage.

spacious garage btw. lots of shelves. they put in hooks to hang up their bikes. sweet. ooh, there are hooks along the the edges of the roof for christmas lights, i assume. too bad we don't have any christmas lights. haha, we don't even have a tree anymore.

ah, there's a heater in the house but no AC. but that's ok too because of the thick insulation. lots of closet space, mother is pleased.

man, that was one of the coolest houses i've ever been in. the trees provide a lot of shade. so when it's really hot in the summer, we can just sit in the shade of the tree in front of our living room. and one of the homeowners recommended that at night we open all windows to get the cool night air and during the day we close all windows to keep the coolness inside. that would work if mother wasn't so paranoid about the windows allowing burglars to come in.

ahh man. too bad i move into this neighborhood just before people i know there are moving out to go to college haha. oh well.

oh i forgot to say that i drove on the freeway. with mother and D in the car. D suggested i drive. mother wasn't too happy about it, but she let me anyway. started off well, but my driving kinda declined somewhere around 13h00 >_>

but eh, i got to drive to le's house around 2 or so to work on the script. autumn was already there. joanna and ally showed up later after buying jamba juice and such. and brian came later. we worked on the script together for a little bit. but it was mostly one or two at a time (mainly le, autumn, and brian). i read chapter 22 to find out what it's about. but we didn't seem to get that far. and then we started watching tv, while brian continued editing. watched parts of two Law and Order episodes, a bit of CSI, and some Zoey 101. i finally find out what that last show is haha.

oh and just now, while i was sleeping, the smoke alarm went off in one of the neighbors' houses. but it didn't wake me up. my mother did, and so did my cell alarm haha. mother wanted me to talk on the phone with someone, while telling me that she could smell something burning in one of the houses behind us. eventually, we could hear one of our other neighbors talking in viet on the phone with a friend. he was wondering whether he should jump the fence and check the house or not. and he did jump over and went inside. turned out the family that lives there left their stove on with the food still cooking (and spilling over).

and yeah, we only know this because the guy spoke really loudly on the phone haha. of course, we viet people always speak so loudly.

anyway, i should probably start my english hwk now. fuck, i have so much stuff to do in the last three weeks of school. teachers are just dumping them all out and having them due around the same general time. but knowing me, i'm not gonna pace myself, and so this will not be good for my health.. i need to divide up the work for the next two or so weeks. agh..
